Pathfinders after school program is for children in Kindergarten through 8^th grade.  Bus service after school is provided at the schools except for Northside.  Northside school children have an assigned adult to walk them to the church. Parents can pick up their child after dinner at the church at 5:45 PM .

The Pathfinders' Team has met and is excited about some changes for the upcoming fall season which is scheduled to begin September 8 and conclude November 3!  The new format we are using allows more flexibility for our volunteers.  If you are interested in helping or just learning about what is needed, please call Becky Daniels or Chuck Hilman and we can give you some direction. 

One new change for Pathfinders will be very similar to Vacation Bible School. In order to make this new change a success we need to find volunteers to help classes move from one station to another.

Some of our other changes include:

• Opening time for games, singing, and worship
• Using center-based curriculum (teachers not required to be there each week)
• Kitchen organized in teams-everyone doesn't need to commit to every week

There are a couple of things that you, our church family, can do for us as a committee:

· Pray that the leadership will seek God’s direction as we prepare to show Jesus to the children that come our way.

· Prayerfully consider being a part of the Pathfinders program. If you are available after school on Wednesdays, please consider signing up to help. There are many ways to help!

It is a great way to do something good for the kids in our community and to spread the gospel.
